City Nature Challenge
April 24-27, 2020
We're excited to be the local organizers for the 2020 City Nature Challenge. Urban areas globally will be competing to observe the most species, activate the greatest number of people, and have fun with nature!
We'll be encouraging people from all over the greater 16-county Chattanooga region to observe nature and upload those observations to iNaturalist. To see what's already being observed around the region, visit the Thrive Regional Partnership Biodiversity Project on iNaturalist.
The City Nature Challenge is organized on a global scale by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the California Academy of Sciences and locally in Chattanooga, TN by Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center.
