Job Opportunities

Administrative Coordinator

Help keep everything running behind the scenes at Reflection Riding! We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Coordinator to support key operational areas of our organization. This full-time role will manage scheduling for all events and programs on campus, assist with bookkeeping and financial tracking, coordinate vendor services, and help staff the welcome desk to ensure accurate reporting. If you enjoy systems, spreadsheets, and meaningful collaboration—and want to contribute to a mission-driven team in a beautiful natural setting—this could be the role for you!

Guest Services Naturalist

Be the friendly face that welcomes guests to Reflection Riding! We are seeking an outgoing and dependable Guest Services Naturalist to staff our welcome desk on Saturdays and help create a positive first impression for all who visit. This part-time role includes greeting guests, checking in program groups, supporting weekend events, and helping keep our spaces clean and visitor-ready. If you love working with people, enjoy the outdoors, and want to support our mission of connecting people with nature, we’d love to have you join the team. Occasional Sunday availability is also desired.

Facilities and Grounds Steward

Make a visible impact every day at Reflection Riding! We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities and Grounds Steward to help keep our campus clean, functional, and ready for visitors. This part-time position focuses on event setup, trash/recycling/compost maintenance, and general grounds care. Whether you’re refilling a dog waste station, clearing a trail, or helping prepare for a weekend rental, your work supports the experience of every guest and helps bring our mission to life. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work in an outdoor setting and wants to be part of a dedicated team.

Summer Camp Counselor

Experience the best of nature at Reflection Riding’s Summer Camps! We are seeking enthusiastic and caring counselors to provide a unique outdoor experience for young campers from ages 5 to 13. Counselors will be positive role models and help campers have a safe and fun experience on our 300-acre campus. The best way to ensure that it is a great experience is to have the counselors participate in all of the activities with the campers. We will focus on the philosophy of nature play, self-exploration, and counselors being facilitators. Being a camp counselor is an enriching and very important job that can make a difference in a child’s life. Come be a part of this amazing experience!

Counselor in Training

Are you passionate about spending time outdoors and sharing your love and enthusiasm for the natural world with others? Join our team as a Summer Camp Counselor in Training (CIT)! CIT’s will assist Reflection Riding Camp Counselors during games, crafts, hikes, and more! We have four 2-week sessions available for teenagers ages 14-17. This volunteer opportunity is great for developing skills in leadership, ecology, outdoor survival, basic first aid, land conservation, and environmental stewardship. We hope you’ll consider this fun position for the chance to make a tangible impact in our community!

Our members and visitors come from all walks of life, and so does our staff and volunteer team. We hire great people from rich and varied backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes Reflection Riding stronger and our work better. We include, value, trust, and support each other. For our team, this means being open and honest, and giving each other the benefit of the doubt. If you share these values and our enthusiasm for all things nature, you will find a home at Reflection Riding.

Reflection Riding offers a great work environment, competitive pay and benefits, and lots of flexibility. If you don't see a job opening that fits your unique skills, feel free to start by volunteering and stay tuned for future openings. We release job openings first to internal staff, then to volunteers, so it’s a great way to get your foot in the door!

Nondiscrimination policy

Reflection Riding believes that equal opportunity is important for the continuing success of our organization, our staff and volunteer team, and the community we serve. For many years, Reflection Riding has had a nondiscrimination policy in place, which is far broader than a Title 6 policy. Below is that policy, which was updated in March 2023:

We intend to comply with all laws which preclude discrimination because of race, disability, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, military status, and any other protected classification, including people with limited English proficiency. This policy applies to all our activities, including but not limited to, employment, selection of volunteers, purchasing, and selecting vendors or consultants. Reflection Riding defines discrimination to include, but not necessarily be limited to, the denial of services, employment, or volunteer opportunities to any class of individuals in a manner that negatively restricts opportunities to that class of individuals. To report an issue or problem under this policy, please contact the Managing Director.
