Part-Time Naturalist
Love teaching outside and bringing nature to life for kids? Reflection Riding is hiring a Part-Time Naturalist to lead field trips and public programs. We’re looking for a positive, energetic educator who partners well with teachers and inspires the next generation of conservationists. Schedule varies seasonally with more opportunities in fall and spring; additional hours may be available by flexing into other areas, if desired. Lead Naturalist: Native Plant Horticulture
The Lead Naturalist with a focus on native plant horticulture will support our public-facing efforts in propagation, horticultural education, and sustainable land stewardship. This new position will play a key role in stewarding our Native Plant Nursery, increasing its educational impact, and contributing to a growing retail revenue stream that supports our organization’s long-term sustainability.
Lead Naturalist: Native Landscape Apprenticeship Manager
The Native Landscape Apprenticeship Manager is a Lead Naturalist position that will lead Reflection Riding’s flagship workforce development initiative focused on youth engagement, environmental education, and hands-on land conservation. This position is designed for an educator who is passionate about mentorship, conservation, and cultivating the next generation of land stewards through immersive and place-based experiences.
Land Stewardship Manager
Reflection Riding seeks a Land Stewardship Manager to oversee the health, safety, and ecological integrity of our 300-acre campus. This role will lead land management efforts, including invasive species removal, habitat restoration, tree care, and native plant-focused restoration strategies, while supporting trail safety and visual appeal. As a mission-aligned leader, the Land Stewardship Manager will collaborate with education, conservation, and volunteer teams to ensure our natural spaces are safe, accessible, and thriving.
Campus Facilities and Sustainability Manager
Reflection Riding seeks a mission-aligned Campus Facilities and Sustainability Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in maintaining and improving the health, safety, sustainability, and functionality of our built environment. This position ensures that our buildings and infrastructure operate efficiently and remain welcoming, accessible, and aligned with our organizational values. The Manager will directly engage in facilities maintenance and repair work, while also coordinating contractors, supervising staff and volunteers, and contributing to long-term planning for future improvements.
