A Celebration of Spring, Loved Ones, and Native Beauty
Each spring, as the landscape awakens with vibrant blooms and the return of hummingbirds, we invite you to gather with us for Brunch & Blooms, a joyful celebration of loved ones, native plants, and the beauty of the season. Held near Mother’s Day, this special event offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a cocktail brunch, live music, and the vibrant surroundings of our Native Plant Nursery.
A Timeless Tradition
Brunch & Blooms is more than just a gathering—it’s a tribute to the season’s renewal and the enduring beauty of native plants. Guests enjoy a meal among the blooms in the Native Plant Nursery, where carefully cultivated plants highlight the importance of ecological restoration and conservation. Live music from Alva Leigh sets the tone for a relaxed and festive atmosphere, making it the perfect occasion to honor the parental figures and close friends in your life.
In 2024, this annual event became a fundraiser to endow the P. Robert Philp Memorial Garden, a stunning woodland garden on our campus dedicated to Percy Robert “Bob” Philp, Sr., an avid outdoorsman and respected Chattanooga community leader. While the event takes place in the nursery, proceeds help sustain the Philp Memorial Garden and Reflection Riding’s broader conservation efforts, ensuring these landscapes thrive for generations to come.
Join Us for Brunch & Blooms 2026
Join us for our annual Brunch & Blooms on Saturday, May 9, a spring gathering in support of Reflection Riding’s Native Plant Nursery and the P. Robert Philp Memorial Garden, an ericaceous garden showcasing native plants such as rhododendron, azalea, and mountain laurel.
We are sincerely grateful to this year’s co-chairs, Bena Devaney, Bena Pearson, McCall Devaney, and Carla Morgan, whose generosity and thoughtful leadership help bring this meaningful tradition to life.
