Timothy Miller
Campus Facilities and Sustainability Manager
Team member since 2025
Tim (he/him) grew up in Southeast Pennsylvania, enjoying the outdoors through family camping trips, fishing, and mountain biking. His professional background includes a mixture of teaching with non-profit grant and facility management. He spent many years as a philosophy professor, engaging with students about philosophy's "big questions." He has also done substantial volunteer work in facility management and operations at Northminster Presbyterian Church, where he took a lead role in securing and managing several GoodUse Grants from the Southface Institute to make energy efficiency improvements. Working on those projects got him interested in learning more about project management and sustainability, which led to his recently earning the Project Management Professional (PMP) and LEED Green Associate certifications. He is excited to join the Reflection Riding team in a capacity that can help integrate our facilities and operations with our mission as a conservation-focused nature center.
Outside of work, Tim can often be found on the tennis courts.
