Mary Hamel
Facilities and Grounds Steward
Team Member Since 2026
Mary (she/her) grew up in Jacksonville, FL and has called Chattanooga home for just over 3 years. With a degree in English, Mary spent the last 8 years working in corporate communications, project management, and program operations. She recently made the decision to step into a role that felt connected to the community and the outdoors at a mission driven organization.
Mary is excited to work with Reflection Riding because it brings together her love of the outdoors with her interest in hands-on stewardship and creating welcoming spaces for people to connect with nature.
Outside of work, Mary can usually be found lifting weights, practicing and teaching yoga, hiking Chattanooga’s trails, baking sweet treats, reading, and enjoying time with her partner, Chris.
