Learn With Us for a Lifetime

Our team engaged people at all stages of life over the past year. We piloted our first Spring Break STEM Camp with Tennessee American Water’s support, providing more than 160 kids and 25 adults with hands-on nature experiences they wouldn’t have otherwise been able to access. From guided hikes, to animal encounters, to pond studies, to log rolls, time to explore our Nature Playscape (supported by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee this year), and learning all about insect life cycles, it was a week full of outdoor fun and exploration. Working with partners at Camp Hope, Girls Inc. of Chattanooga, Bridge Chattanooga, and Lookout Valley Elementary deepened relationships across the community.

Chattanooga’s Best Outdoor Summer Camp at Reflection Riding, sponsored by Local 3 News and Rock/Creek, grew again this year! Our Forest Homeschool grew again as well. But it’s not just children who love to learn with us... adults (some with kids in tow) participated in the global City Nature Challenge, volunteered to wrangle weeds with us and our partners at the National Parks, and served as Native Landscape Apprentices learning land conservation while studying or as recent college graduates. We invite you to come learn with us for a lifetime!
