Virginia Opossum (Didelphis virginiana)
Born: unknown Arrival Date: April 2025 from Opie Acres in Chattanooga, TN
K.C. is an adult opossum with a relaxed, docile demeanor. She’s very curious and inquisitive, a true “mover and a shaker”. K.C.’s age and history is a bit of a mystery, although we approximate that she’s around 1.5 years old (as of May 2025).
K.C. is in our program rotation, which means she is a possible candidate for our educational wildlife programs. We believe in the animal’s consent, so we will only bring out an ambassador who feels up to the challenge for any given program.
