Our meadows will be in full bloom with bearded beggarticks (Bidens aristosa) and giant ironweed (Vernonia gigantea). Our land conservation team will help you identify native wildflowers and you will learn about other riparian and wetland plants in the area.
Bring proper clothing and gear for warm weather and a hike. Please bring water, sunscreen, bug spray and anything else you'll need to enjoy a summer morning outside. We will meet near the Welcome Center, and caravan closer to the meadows at 9am, so come a few minutes early. Covid protocols will be in place and are detailed in the sign up.
