Weed Wrangle

Come battle invasive plants with our Land Conservation team!

Join us to wrangle some weeds! We’ll teach you all about how to manage invasive plants and what the best methods are. For this event, we will be using weed wrenches to properly remove some of the non-native species encroaching our landscape. We have limited our group sizes to 10 people, so reserve your spot by signing up below today! We will meet at the main Welcome Center parking area at 9:00 am to kick-off the fun.

Please come prepared to work with close toed shoes, long sleeves and pants, a hat, water, sunscreen and anything else you might need to stay comfortable for a morning of work outdoors. We are excited to welcome you and show you the ropes. The Weed Wrangles are always a lot of fun!

Please read and sign our volunteer waiver before attending. Each adult attendee must sign this waiver to participate. Parents/legal guardians must sign a waiver for each child participating.

As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be canceled.
