  • Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center 400 Garden Road Chattanooga, TN, 37419 United States (map)

Come to Reflection Riding the first three Saturdays in April to learn how to identify plants and animals!

Have you ever come across something in nature and wondered what it was? Well, this program is for you! In preparation for the 2023 City Nature Challenge, we want to get you familiar with the iNaturalist app, get comfortable using it, and encourage you to participate in this global identification challenge on April 28th and 29th. After this class, you can join our Reflection Riding project to participate in sharing your observations of wild organisms (like spring ephemerals!) seen in Chattanooga.

These programs will happen outdoors, so don't forget to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring along anything else you might need to enjoy time outdoors in this season. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be canceled.

Please read and sign the general liability waiver before attending. Each adult attendee must sign this waiver to participate. Parents/legal guardians must sign a waiver for each child participating.
