Tails, Trails, and Ales

Presented by Mountain View Auto Group, race our trails with your canine friend in this multi-race trail day.

Get ready for a trail day made for you and your best four-legged friend, presented by Mountain View Auto Group, Mountaintown Bicycles, and Pandora's European Motor Sports. Tails, Trails & Ales is a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience where adventurous dog lovers come together to run, hike, and celebrate all things canine in one of Chattanooga’s most beautiful natural settings—hosted by Nooga Paws, Bad Beard Events, and Reflection Riding.

Choose from a 1-mile Pup Dash, 5K, or 10K trail run and explore scenic routes side-by-side with your dog. Whether you’re racing for time or strolling for fun, this event is all about movement, connection, and enjoying the outdoors together. Expect dog-friendly aid stations, a 6-ft leash policy, and on-site veterinary and first-aid support for peace of mind.

Cross the finish line and head straight into the celebration—because that’s where the Ales come in. Relax with local craft beer, enjoy great food from breweries and food trucks, and browse pet-friendly vendors. Every human finisher receives race swag, and every pup gets a bandana—because they earned it, too.

We’re planning for around 200 participants (plus lots of wagging tails!) and have built in optional support for a local animal rescue or shelter.

This event is designed to:
• Promote fun, fitness, and human-dog bonding
• Support local businesses and makers
• Celebrate Chattanooga’s outdoor spirit
• Build a signature community event for years to come

Timed and untimed options are available. One dog per participant. 6-ft leashes required.

Join us for an unforgettable day on the trails—because adventures are better with a dog by your side.

Register with Bad Beard Events below, and all participants must sign the liability waiver before attending.
