Follow the Fire

You are invited to a firelit night of fun!

We think that winter is one of the best times to explore Reflection Riding! Follow the Fire is a beautiful opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy nature at night on the Reflection Riding campus. The night will feature nocturnal animal encounters, owl prowls, native plant tea, a UV Light walk with the Tennessee Aquarium, and stargazing with Barnard Astronomical Society. Go Gyro Go will be on-site with delicious meals available for purchase, in additional to complimentary whiskey tasting and beer from our sponsors Chattanooga Whiskey and Dynamo Brewing. Put on your warmest layers and join us for this fun, family-friendly evening and follow the fires from one experience to another through our 300-acre campus.

• Star Party: Ongoing throughout the evening 

• Owl Prowl: 6:30pm - 7:15pm, 7:30pm - 8:15pm, 8:15pm - 9:00pm 

• Howl at the Moon: 6:00pm - 6:45pm, 7:00pm - 7:45pm, 8:00pm - 8:45pm

• Native Plant “Senses” & Tea Sampling: 6:00pm - 6:45pm, 6:30pm - 7:00pm, 7:45pm - 8:15pm

• Owl Meet ‘n Greet: 6:00pm - 6:30pm, 7:00pm - 7:30pm, 8:00pm - 8:30pm

• Opossum Party: 6:00pm - 6:30pm, 7:00pm - 7:30pm, 8:00pm - 8:30pm

Please read and sign the general liability waiver before attending. Each adult attendee must sign this waiver to participate. Parents/legal guardians must sign a waiver for each child participating.

As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be canceled.
