Campfire Concert at Reflection Riding - Bluesfrog & The Georgia Rhythm Crickets

Join us for a campfire concert listening to Bluesfrog & The Georgia Rhythm Crickets under the stars!

Reflection Riding’s Campfire Concert series, sponsored by Hutton and Smith Brewery, OCI, and the Tennessee Arts Commission, provides a fun outdoor venue to enjoy some of the best artists the Chattanooga area has to offer. Join us on Friday, September 22nd for a night of listening to Bluesfrog & The Georgia Rhythm Crickets under the stars.

Bluesfrog & The Georgia Rhythm Crickets is a North Georgia/Chattanooga area-based band that has existed in one form or another since 2007. Bluesfrog has a wealth of original material that draws from influences like The Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, The Band and classic blues stretching back to Robert Johnson. They also have deep roots with Reflection Riding - band member Paul-Erik Bakland began volunteering in 2013, primarily helping with our herp collection and leading various reptile and amphibian related programs, as well as feeding the animals. He even presented and defended his thesis on amphibian disease ecology at Reflection Riding to complete the Environmental Science Masters Program at UTC. He says, "RR holds a very special place in my heart not just because of the history I have with it but because it’s mission is something I view as incredibly important." We are so glad to have Paul-Erik play with his band on Sept 22nd and to host Bluesfrog for an unforgettable night.
