Master Gardeners of Hamilton County “Native Plants for Wildlife” Series: Using Water to Attract Unique Wildlife to Your Yard
Learn how to attract small beneficial creatures to your space with water, rocks, logs, and plants!
Learn how to create an environment designed to attract frogs, lizards, salamanders, and the like, right in your own back yard. Led by Presenter Becky Donaldson, you’ll learn how to use water, rocks, logs, and especially plants, to create habitats big or small for these unique creatures.
Becky is always in awe of the nature around us. She spent time as an intern with the Birmingham Zoo, docent for Tennessee Aquarium, and turtle team volunteer for Campwildernest Wildlife Center. She became a Master Gardener in 2022 to expand her knowledge of plants in order to create a better environment for the wildlife.
