Jessie (she/her) grew up in New York, equally close to the city and the mountains of upstate. She largely spent her childhood outdoors: skiing, hiking, or exploring her neighborhood on her bike. Her family moved to East Tennessee in 2011, and she came to Chattanooga in 2014 to attend UTC, where she studied Public Administration and Nonprofit Management. Graduating in 2018, Jessie started her career in the nonprofit sector of Chattanooga. She has interned or worked with Girls Inc. of Chattanooga, YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga, Skye Strategies, and United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
Jessie is excited to work with Reflection Riding because it combines her passion for land conservation with her experience in nonprofit development and grant writing.
When not working, Jessie can be found taking walks on Reflection Riding’s amazing trails, at a local coffee shop, checking out too many books from the library, or exploring the surrounding mountains. She enjoys traveling, and her goal is to visit every National Park in the United States.
