Blandy C. Lopez was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and is in 9th grade at The Howard School. She applied for the apprenticeship program because her teacher brought up the opportunity before class and Blandy thought of it as a great opportunity to help out her family. After a few days at Reflection Riding, she realized that she liked having an outdoor job and didn't think she’d fit anywhere else. Everyone at Reflection Riding is kind and friendly. It has brought her some old memories from her childhood and it has helped regain her love for the outdoors.
On weekdays, Blandy spends her time doing assignments for school since one of her dreams is to go to college one day—so she works hard to keep her grades up. In her free time, she plays games and sometimes draws so that time passes quickly. One of her hobbies is sleeping, but she doesn’t know if that is considered a hobby. She likes playing with her dog Snowball and likes bathing him after walks around the park or neighborhood.
On Saturdays, she works at Reflection Riding as an apprentice and she has fun every Saturday. Blandy is happy to be a part of change and recommends visiting to everyone she knows so they can be a part of it as well.
