Winnie the Barn Owl Comes Home

The Reflection Riding family welcomed a new member as Winnie the Barn Owl joined us through generous financial support from Love, Erin. Since arriving, Winnie has won many fans, from the smallest children to our retired volunteers. Over the last year, Winnie has completed nearly 100 programs, under the careful watch of our Director of Avian Conservation. We estimate that Winnie has reached 600 people directly, and being a part of her Owl Flight Training program is an experience like no other! Winnie became part of the Reflection Riding team for solely educational purposes because owls do best when they start out in our care. This stress-free environment allows for in-depth environmental education programming for our community, especially in classroom settings.
