Thor is a large bird, and he knows it! Sometimes, he uses that to take advantage of his keepers. He entered human care after being shot and losing the ability to properly hunt. Thor was the first bird that Taylor trained to free-fly to the glove! He is an exceptional animal during programs with his well-behaved demeanor and fierce features.
Thor is in our program rotation, which means he is a possible candidate for our educational wildlife programs. We believe in the animal’s consent, so we will only bring out an ambassador who feels up to the challenge for any given program.
