Reflection Riding is one of the best places in the Chattanooga area for bird diversity. The end of March through the beginning of May is the peak of bird migration through the Chattanooga area. Join CTOS (Chattanooga Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society) Vice President, Gary Brunvoll, for a birding walk to enjoy the sights and sounds of these magnificent and beautiful creatures.
The program will begin on Saturday, April 8 at 8:00am in the Reflection Riding parking lot. Bring your binoculars, sun screen, a refillable water bottle, bug spray and anything else that might make you comfortable. If you don’t have your own binoculars, we do have a limited number of binoculars available for you to use. This program is free as a part of CTOS’s community outreach. The program will end from 11:00am-12:00pm, you can leave at any point or stay all day and continue to watch for birds!
As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather. In the event of severe weather, programs may be postponed or cancelled.
