Interested in adding native plants to your yard but not sure where to begin? Led by Christina Gibson, we will ramble around Reflection Riding's nursery, where you'll have the opportunity to take home the right plant for the right place, right away!
Come discover what trees, shrubs, flowers, vines and native ornamental grasses thrive in our region and learn what criteria to consider to make the best selection for your yarden (that's right, yarden). Native plants require very little maintenance once established in the right conditions, and offer big rewards - like bird habitat, food, medicine, rainwater management, and beauty - for many seasons to come. This walk is open to all ages and skill levels; no experience required.
