Nature Journaling & Sketching with the Chattery

Enhance your sketchbook practice with inspiration from nature.

Both nature and sketchbooks are viewed as sanctuaries that allow an escape from many of life's woes. In this class we will combine the two and create a dynamic sketchbook habit that keeps the benefits of both habits going even longer.

We will explore the grounds of Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center, looking for colors, textures, spaces, animals and memories that we want to capture into sketchbook spreads that allow us to reflect, sketch, dream and plan for more nature adventures ahead.

Everyone will receive a sketchbook and sketching supplies.

As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be cancelled.
