Join us May 22nd, from 9-4, for a day of hands-on, interactive learning with our birds of prey. Taylor Berry, Lead Naturalist & Director of Avian Conservation, will lead a workshop for raptor enthusiasts who want to learn more about caring for and training these captive birds.
Beginners will learn best practices and techniques on the basics of raptor care giving. We'll cover how to build an enclosure properly, understand weight management, and the beginning stages of a training program. We will provide the most up-to-date information on care with the most relevant knowledge you need to care for raptors under your watch. Participating in classes like this is a great way to begin! The cost to attend is $250 and includes lunch. Class size is limited to 10 participants, so register today to secure your spot.
