Due to the heavy rainfall this past week and strong currents, we cannot take the canoes out on Lookout Creek. If you have signed up for this date, you will receive an email for next steps as we work to reschedule this program for a later date. Thank you!
Join amazing naturalist and our Director of Avian Conservation, Taylor Berry, for a guided canoe trip on Lookout Creek. Enjoy the beauty and relaxation while Taylor talks about our native plants and animals found along the creek. We will provide all the necessary equipment. No experience is required. Open to ages 7 and older.
As you may know, for the past year damage to our boardwalk caused by the emerald ash borer has meant that our canoes, dock, and boat launch have been unavailable to visitors. We know that boat access to Lookout Creek is valued by our members, so we’re working hard on getting it reopened to the public very soon. The fee for these programs is considered a donation toward getting the boardwalk reopened, and if you would like to help us get the boardwalk opened, please consider making a donation.
