Brunch & Blooms

Join us for our annual Brunch & Blooms event on Mother's Day, Sunday May 12th, benefiting the Philp Memorial Garden.

Whether you're celebrating Mother's Day or simply looking for a unique way to spend a Sunday, you don't want to miss Brunch & Blooms at Reflection Riding's Native Plant Nursery! Enjoy a delicious brunch with cocktails, listen to live music by Call Me Spinster, and browse our selection of beautiful native plants for your garden or home.

And this year, our Brunch & Blooms event will be benefitting the Philp Memorial Garden, an ericaceous garden on our campus with native plants like the rhododendron, azalea, and mountain laurel that honors Bob Philp, Sr. The memorial garden was originally dedicated almost 30 years ago, and we want to celebrate the legacy of the Philp family by creating an endowment to preserve and maintain the Garden in perpetuity, tying in to Reflection Riding’s larger mission to reconnect people with nature. There will be a guided tour of the garden at 12:30pm if you are interested in learning more!

Thanks to our sponsors Bleu Fox Cheese Shop and Gate 11 Distillery, Brunch & Blooms offers a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones, whether you're celebrating your mom, a friend, or simply enjoying a fun day out. We hope to see you there!

About the band: Sisters Rosalie, Rachel, and Amelia formed the trio Call Me Spinster after unearthing their grandfather’s accordion in a closet and spending several summers learning pop covers on a hodgepodge of acquired instruments, from the mandolin to the washboard, glockenspiel, and upright bass. Spinster melds familial harmony and old-timey sensibilities with pop sounds, reviving classics of doo-wop, 80’s art pop, and 90’s boy band rock. Their debut album Potholes will be out on April 12th!

As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather.
