Check out what Mark has to say about his love for Chattanooga and why he’s excited for the upcoming happy hour:
“I first fell in love with Lookout Mountain while working for Alpine Camp in Mentone, AL during college summers. 20 years later, I'm still in love with it and Chattanooga. Common House is such a beautiful space for meeting new people. It seems like every time I’m at the House, I run into one of our donors or a board member and we get to chatting. You’d be surprised how often someone else shares a challenge or opportunity you wouldn’t have known about if you hadn’t bumped into each other.
I’m excited to meet new people and talk! We’re calling it “Biodiversity Happy Hour” because that’s my current obsession. If you talk to me long enough, I’ll surely mention some new plant or insect I’ve seen lately. I personally love the idea that our natural world is teeming with life, and that includes the city in which we live. I’d love to meet other nature nerds and people who are just interested in learning more about what’s happening around them.”
Join us at The Common House from 6-8pm on Thursday, July 20th.
