Emily (she/her) is from Spring City, Tennessee where she grew up on a farm and developed a love of nature. This led her to graduate from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in biology. While in college she conducted research on grassland plant communities and their ecology.
Emily moved to Chattanooga in 2023 and began working at Reflection Riding in September on invasive species removal. Her role has since expanded to education and assisting in the native plant nursery, which she greatly enjoys.
During her spare time, Emily enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband and their dog.
