This Garden honors Mollie Nelson, a founder and honorary board member of the Nature Center. An intimate nook of nature, the Garden offers an idyllic view from the back door and breezeway of the Visitor Center.
The Lookout Mountain Garden Club helped develop this little landscape. It features winding rock paths, tinkling water features, native wildflowers, and shady trees. The Nature Center dedicates the fountain to memory of Cecil Edward Newell and Gretchen Thelen Newell.
Providing the four basic requirements for wildlife to thrive – food, water, cover and places to raise young – the Mollie Nelson Garden is a prime illustration of why Reflection Riding is a certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
