Party for the Planet

The Chattanooga Zoo and Reflection Riding are are teaming up for a three-part volunteer service project focused on practical environmental actions!

Participants will engage in invasive species removal, waterway cleanup, and the creation of pollinator spaces at both the Zoo and Reflection Riding. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these service projects, please sign up here. As an added "Thank You", the first 85 volunteers to register will receive a free ticket to the Campfire Concert held at Reflection Riding the evening of April 27th with Luke Simmons & the Lovestruck.

Here are the volunteer projects available:

Pollinator Garden Project

  • 9am-12pm

  • Chattanooga Zoo

  • Volunteers ages 8+

Invasive Species Removal

  • 9am-12pm

  • Reflection Riding

  • Volunteers of all ages

Waterway Clean-up

  • 12pm-3pm

  • Relfection Riding

  • Volunteers ages 16+

Additional activities will be offered at Reflection Riding throughout the day including bird banding and herps hikes.  Waivers will need to be signed before volunteer service. Specific information regarding each project will be emailed out prior to the event. Concert tickets will be distributed after attending the service day. 


Please read and sign our volunteer waiver before attending. Each adult attendee must sign this waiver to participate. Parents/legal guardians must sign a waiver for each child participating.

As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather. In the event of severe weather, this program may be canceled.
